Basmati rice is a naturally fragrant rice variety. This character is part of the genetic heritage of the variety. It is a long grain rice with very thin cream color and with a delicate aroma of hazelnut. Whole basmati rice (or brown basmati rice) is a brown rice free of its inedible outer back. In Europe, it is also called "cargo rice". Superior-quality organic long grain basmati rice
Allow approximately 60g rice per person. Place the rice in a saucepan and cover generously with cold water. Bring to the boil then cook over a medium heat for 25 minutes. Drain and rinse. Basmati is one of the most fragrant rice types in the world. It brings flavour and originality to all your dishes. Basmati can be eaten hot alongside your vegetable, meat, and fish dishes; it can also be consumed cold in salads. Keep in a cool, dry and dark place.
