Large barlet bulgur, speciality product of MARKAL is made from barley, which is pre-cooked, dehydrated, hulled, grinded and then calibrated. This bulgur was formerly titled Barly.

Tips for use

Serve about 60–80g of bulgur per person. Stir 1 volume of bulgur into 2,5 volumes of lightly-salted, boiling water. Cook over a medium heat for 7 minutes. Cover, remove from the heat and leave to expand. This bulgur is great as a side dish (meat, fish, or vegetables), for veggie burgers, for a gratin or can be eaten cold in salads. Keep in a cool, dry and dark place.
