The entire MARKAL coconut range comes from the Sri Lankan coconut industry. MARKAL works directly with several groups of cooperatives. These fruits from the practice of permaculture are hand picked by men and processed directly on site. Women also play a central role in the processing process as they are responsible for peeling and cutting the fruit and canning (24 hours after harvest). Working allows them to provide for their families.

Tips for use
100% plant-based alternative to cream. Can be used in savoury and sweet dishes. Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources. Shake well before use. The cream solidifies at temperatures below 20°C. Refrigerate once opened and consume within 4 days.
