Rice flakes are made from short grain brown rice. Before Christ, rice was already grown in Southeast Asia in Egypt. From the 15th century, rice was also cultivated in Italy, in Spain (by the Moors) and later in South America.

Tips for use
These rice flakes have been pre-cooked using a steaming method and can be consumed as they are. They can also be cooked for 10 minutes and garnished to taste. Rice flakes can be sprinkled on your breakfast cereal or eaten with milk or yoghurt. You can also use the flakes to create numerous sweet or savoury dishes, including vegetable terrines, veggie burgers, bread, purée, porridge and cake. Keep in a cool, dry and dark place.
