A spicy beef and chili stew, usually associated with Mexico, chili con carne seems more likely to have originated in Texas. The invention of this dish is also attributed to Native Americans and even European or Chinese immigrants. This dish with its simple preparation and easy to find ingredients became very popular in this poor region at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th.

Tips for use
Pour into a pan and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes over low heat. Can also be reheat in microwave, in a suitable container. Store in a cool, dry and dark place. After opening, keep cool in a glass or plastic container and consume within 3 to 4 days.
