The balsamic vinegar of Modena is a vinegar with special characteristics, which gives it a sweet and sour taste. It is a wine vinegar made directly from the juice of grapes from the trebbiano and lambrusco varieties. It is produced in the region of Modena and Reggio Emilia in Emilia Romagna.
