Puffed corn with honey

Puffed corn is obtained by cooking extrusion of a mixture composed mainly of maize semolina. The cooking extrusion is a silmutaneous mechanical and thermal treatment then the produced is extruded thanks to the pressure force outwards. After the drying/toasting, the product acquires a crispy texture and a pale yellow colour. These puffed corn are then coated with a honey sugar syrup.

Tips for use
Puffed corn with honey is delicious as it is, with yoghurt or fromage blanc, or in a bowl of hot or cold milk. Keep in a cool, dry and dark place.
