Tips for use
Chickpeas can be enjoyed hot in curries, spicy stews or purées such as hummus, and cold in salads for a delicious, high-protein touch. They go well with spices such as cumin, paprika or turmeric, and crunchy or roasted vegetables. Rinse and cook 1 part chickpea in 3 parts unsalted boiling water for 12-15 mins.
