Short grain rice has large and round grains (4-5 mm long and 2,5 mm thick). It has a very special aroma and fragrance that give its originality to the risotto of Northern Italy. White rice is hulled and polished.

Tips for use
Allow approximately 60g rice per person. Place the rice in a saucepan and cover generously with cold water. Bring to the boil then cook over a medium heat 12 minutes. Drain and rinse. This rice can be eaten hot alongside your vegetable, meat and fish dishes or consumed cold in salads. Its shape and texture make it a perfect choice for dessert recipes, such as rice pudding. Keep in a cool, dry and dark place.
