Tips for use
Soak the rye the day before to reduce the cooking time. Wash the rye. Immerse it in 3 times its salt water volume. Gently bring to a boil and cook over low heat for 40 min. Season to taste. Whole rye can be enjoyed as an accompaniment (of your vegetables, meat and fish), in soups or gratin. It will also be delicious cold in salads.
